Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Customs Clearance Executive to manage import and export documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with customs authorities and logistics partners. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures, HS codes, port operations, and freight documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clearance processes for air, sea, and land shipments.
  • Prepare and review customs documentation including Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, HS codes, and commercial invoices.
  • Coordinate with customs officials, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and port authorities for smooth cargo clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws, regulatory updates, and government requirements.
  • Track and monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and internal departments.
  • Handle duty payments, exemptions, permits, and approvals for restricted goods if required.
  • Maintain accurate records of documentation and clearance reports.
  • Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, or challenges proactively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support timely deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in customs clearance operations within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, and HS classification.
  • Proficiency in customs online portals (e.g., Mirsal II), MS Office & ERP systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
  • UAE driving license preferred.
