Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction activities to ensure that all projects are executed with high quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, project management abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and supervise construction projects including infrastructure, buildings, and structural works.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure implementation of safety standards.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and necessary documentation.
- Manage material procurement, resource allocation, and subcontractor activities.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and relevant engineering standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
- 2–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software (e.g., STAAD Pro, Revit preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site execution, and project management.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage.
