Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical to lead and grow sales operations within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will manage a team of medical representatives, drive prescription generation, expand market share, and ensure achievement of sales targets while maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee pharmaceutical sales operations in the assigned area
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of medical representatives and sales executives
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales strategies and action plans
- Drive product promotion to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies
- Achieve sales targets, market share, and distribution objectives
- Monitor prescription trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Build strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and stakeholders
- Conduct joint field work, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management
