Fashion Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, excellent design skills, and the ability to transform concepts into market-ready garments. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fashion, innovation, and delivering high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original clothing designs based on market trends and brand identity
- Create sketches, mood boards, and digital illustrations for seasonal collections
- Select fabrics, colors, trims, and accessories for garment production
- Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure design accuracy
- Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to prototypes
- Stay updated on global fashion trends, materials, and consumer preferences
- Coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams for product launches
- Ensure timely completion of designs and adherence to production deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong creativity and visual design sense
- Proficiency in fashion design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of garment construction and textiles
- Trend forecasting and market awareness
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- Prior experience in fashion designing (freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply)
- Portfolio showcasing original design work (mandatory)
- Experience with pattern making and garment construction is a plus
