Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including routers, switches, etc and configurations.
• Installing, Configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
• Designing, configuring and testing networks to meet business requirements of corporate, branch offices and new projects.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations which involves troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving network and system problems.
• Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Investigate faults in the network and report all network status
• Proactively evaluate network environments using various tools and management

Desired Candidate Profile

• Thorough working knowledge of Local Area Networks (IP Addressing, DNS, IP Routing, VPN, etc).
• Technical expertise in the implementation, operation and design of multi-vendor and multi-protocol environments.
• Troubleshooting system and application problems in a multi-protocol network
• Strong hands-on experience designing, configuring and operating enterprise wired & wireless networks and storage networks.
• Hands on experience designing, implementing and managing large-scale network security infrastructure consisting of firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention systems, Network Access control solutions.
• Experienced in the setup and support of VoIP phone systems.
• Experienced to proficient in design, setup and configuration of wireless networking
