Chicken Carer / Poultry Farm Worker

Job Description

A reputed poultry farm or livestock production company in Romania is hiring a hardworking Chicken Carer / Poultry Farm Worker to care for chickens and maintain healthy farm operations. The candidate will be responsible for feeding birds, monitoring health conditions, cleaning poultry houses, collecting eggs (where applicable), maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting daily farm management activities. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, responsible, and comfortable working in a farm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Feed chickens and ensure proper water supply at all times
✔ Monitor bird health, behavior, and report signs of illness or injury
✔ Clean poultry sheds, cages, feeders, and drinking systems regularly
✔ Collect eggs carefully and maintain storage hygiene (for layer farms)
✔ Assist in vaccination, medication, and health care procedures under supervision
✔ Maintain temperature, ventilation, and lighting conditions in poultry houses
✔ Remove waste and follow farm sanitation standards
✔ Handle birds safely during movement, sorting, or loading activities
✔ Maintain records of feed usage, egg collection, or flock conditions
✔ Follow farm biosecurity and safety procedures

Requirements:

✔ Experience in poultry farming / livestock care preferred (freshers may also apply in some roles)
✔ Basic understanding of animal care and farm hygiene
✔ Physically fit for standing, lifting, and farm work
✔ Ability to work in shifts, weekends, or early morning schedules
✔ Responsible, hardworking, and willing to work outdoors / farm conditions
✔ Teamwork attitude and ability to follow farm instructions

Salary & Benefits:
